Odyssey has created a large network of Group Facilitators. Our Facilitators can support you on everything from creating better habits to reaching your personal and professional goals. Through a careful vetting process, Odyssey accepts just a small percetnage of facilitator applicants to our platform to ensure the highest quality experience for our members. Currently, Odyssey Groups are not covered by HSA/FSA. However, it may be covered through an employer benefits program such as tuition reimbursement or education stipend.
Odyssey Groups are for professionals in subject areas that demand and reward creativity. Designers, Engineers, Managers, Leaders, Programmers, Entrepreneurs, Copywriters, Filmmakers, Musicians, Architects, among others.
Therapy (also known as psychotherapy, counseling, or “talk therapy”) is similar to Odyssey Groups in some ways. Both use evidence-based techniques and intentional conversation as the primary tools for growth and discovery, but there are also key differences between these services: Odyssey Groups focus on personal growth and professional development, conversations of shared humaninty, insightful questions and playful games, are are guided by a model facilitator, while therapy is designed to help you work through healing deeper issues such as anxiety, depression, or trauma and guided by a therapist.
When you feel like you are functioning well overall and want to set goals to help you develop a greater sense of drive, improve your ability to bounce back from setbacks, feel more satisfied with your life, or improve your relationships - coaching may be a great fit for you. When you feel like the day-to-day is starting to get really tough, or the bad days are outnumbering the good ones, therapy may help you dive deeper and find clarity and healing.
